Catherine is from a small town located along the scenic coast of County Cork. She moved to Vancouver in 2011, exchanging the Atlantic for the Pacific Ocean.

She works as an Urban Planner for the local municipal government in the area of community engagement and long-term planning. In her free time, she is involved in a number of community causes from volunteering with the annual homeless count to co-founding an international group to look at affordable housing solutions.

 

Catherine was one of the initial founding members of the Brigid Festival Vancouver team, joining in 2019. She is excited to be part of such a wonderful festival that celebrates the creativity of Irish women that shares the gift of Irish storytelling with others around the world.
